Uses
The hardware, software and small things the studio runs on. No ads — only what’s actually open every day.
Hardware
- Windows 11 — The main system: code, builds, rendering covers and decks.
- Intel Core i7-6700K — Old but lively — handles builds and tests without complaint.
- NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti — The GPU: rendering, local AI experiments and games after a deadline.
- 16 GB RAM — Enough for the editor, a browser with a hundred tabs and a couple of containers.
- Xiaomi monitor — The main screen — every studio site is laid out on it.
- Attack Shark keyboard and mouse — One brand on the desk: a mechanical board for code and a light mouse.
Editor
- VS Code — The main editor for everything: from bots to this site.
- LKXA Now — A custom extension: it tells the site which project I’m working on right now — that’s the “Right now” block.
- Geist Mono — The monospace font in the editor and in the figures on the site.
- Git + GitHub — Every project lives in a repo; deploys are a git pull on the server.
Frontend
- HTML — Semantics, accessibility, meta tags — the foundation of everything.
- CSS — Keyframe animations, grids, variables, clip-path.
- React — Interfaces, Mini Apps and admin panels.
- TypeScript — Anywhere code lives longer than a week.
- Tailwind CSS — Styling right in the markup, design tokens in @theme.
- Vite — Frontend builds in a second.
- Motion — Animations and transitions — Framer Motion and its successor.
- React Router — Routing in SPAs and Mini Apps.
- Zustand — State without the boilerplate.
- Next.js — When SSR and SEO are needed out of the box.
- TanStack Query — Requests, caching and server sync.
- shadcn/ui — Base components that get restyled for each project.
Backend
- Node.js + Express — APIs, webhooks and this site’s server.
- Zod — Validating everything that comes from outside.
- NestJS — When a project needs a strict architecture: modules, guards, DI.
- BullMQ — Background jobs and queues on top of Redis.
- Socket.IO / WebSocket — Real time: chats, dashboards, notifications.
- S3 / MinIO — Files, covers and delivery via presigned links.
- Fastify — When Express is a bit slow.
- PHP: Laravel and XenForo — Improving forums and other people’s PHP projects.
Data
- PostgreSQL — The main database for serious projects.
- Redis — Cache, queues and rate limits.
- SQLite — For bots and Mini Apps — one file, WAL, no servers.
- Prisma — Schema and migrations without pain.
- Supabase — A quick start: database, auth and storage in one go.
Bots and AI
- Gemini API — AI inside products: generation, rewriting, moderation.
- Telegram bots — grammY and Telegraf in TypeScript, aiogram in Python.
- Python + aiogram — Bots with payments, SQLAlchemy and asyncpg.
- discord.js — Server moderation and panels for it.
Servers and deployment
- Ubuntu VPS — A dedicated server per project — no cloud magic.
- nginx — HTTPS, a proxy to Node, serving static files and prerendered pages.
- pm2 — Keeps processes alive and restarts them after a crash.
- Let’s Encrypt — Free certificates via certbot.
- Docker Compose — When a project has a database, queues and file storage.
Design
- Figma — Prototypes and screen reviews before code.
- Geist — The studio’s main typeface — on the site, in decks and covers.
- LKXA identity — Logo, colours, emoji and templates — all in one place.
- Puppeteer — Covers, OG images and avatars are rendered from HTML with one command.
Services
- Telegram — Bot API, Mini Apps, Stars and CryptoBot — the studio’s main platform.
- Resend — Emails: confirmations, password resets, notifications.
- Sentry — Production errors show up before anyone writes about them.
Small things
- Spotify — Music for coding — and it’s on the site too.
- Dark theme — Everywhere. Even this site has no light theme.
- Easter egg — Type “lkxa” on any page of the site.
